The Black, Gay and Proud Pride (BGP) Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in
sponsorship of BGP’s eleventh Pride Celebration. BGP hosts Ohio’s only pride celebration that
focuses on the community of color, because of that, we can offer you and your business or organization many unique opportunities
to reach a more diverse LGBT community.
For 11 years the BGP Committee has organized an assortment of events
highlighting the intellectual, spiritual, artistic, and political facets of our lives. BGP’s celebrations focus
on fostering unity within the LGBT and communities of color. This year’s planning is well underway with an exciting
list of events including a three hour cruise on the Majestic Yacht, which will host our signature White Fantasia Affair. We
will also be hosting our annual Jazz and Poetry. In addition we will be discussing the State or Black Gay America
at our Saturday morning panel discussion on August 2, 2008.
We ask you to consider supporting our efforts with a financial contribution of any kind. This contribution will
allow you as a sponsor to have a unique opportunity to reach hundreds within the LGBT community through strategic advertisement
placement during events and in publications. Between now and June, we need to raise enough funds so that we may secure speakers,
entertainers, venues, equipment and produce advertisement materials for distribution. We believe that BGP Pride Celebration
will have a positive effect on the quality of community, but we need your help to make it happen. Donations and sponsorships
are handled through the AIDS task force of Greater Cleveland.
